Wedgwood Hibiscus with Red Onion depicts a 'blooming' red onion atop gold-rimmed dishes decorated with a blue and white hibiscus-inspired motif. In some cultures, the hibiscus flower is symbolic of beauty, charm, and youth. The pattern shown here is inspired by an archival Wedgwood design from around 1810.
