The Yemeni-Bosnian-US multimedia artist, Alia Ali is a world traveler whose work explores the historical legacies of textiles. From the global trade of the material to the symbolic power of certain patterns, textiles are the subject of over 25 photographs displayed in multicolored, upholstered frames.
