Massive congratulations are in order to Robert Langham III for being awarded the 2022 Guggenheim Fellowship in Photography. Langham's prolific career has included capturing images of the Southwestern landscape, profiling the local wildlife in the Blackfork Creek watershed, and creating surreal kinetic still life images done in camera without post-processing trickery. His work is deeply rooted in a sense of place, reaching deep into the Texan psyche to explore the whimsy and endless possibilities that the open expanses of the Southwestern landscape have inspired, and continue to inspire, within the imagination.
